Dr Lawrence Alvino

Dr Alvino completed a Bachelor of Dental Science and Graduate Diploma in Dentistry at Griffith University in 2015 before returning to his hometown, Adelaide, to commence practice as a general dentist. Following several years in private practice, he completed specialist training in Endodontics at the University of Adelaide, graduating with a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Endodontics) in 2022.

Lawrence is a Specialist Endodontist and Partner at North Terrace Endodontics, where he is committed to providing contemporary, evidence-based care across the full spectrum of endodontic treatment. His clinical interests include the management of traumatic dental injuries, endodontic microsurgery, and the treatment of complex post-treatment endodontic disease.

Alongside private practice, Lawrence is a Senior Lecturer and Clinical Tutor within the Endodontic faculty at Adelaide University, where he is actively involved in the education and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate dental students. He also serves as a Visiting Consultant Specialist at the Adelaide Dental Hospital and is a reviewer for the European Endodontic Journal.

Lawrence is the current President of the Australian Society of Endodontology (South Australia Branch) and is actively involved in continuing professional education and the advancement of endodontics within the profession. He regularly lectures to dentists and contributes to the ongoing development of evidence-based endodontic practice.
