Meet Dr Ian Trantor
Dr Trantor graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery ( B.D.S ) from the University of Sydney in 1986. Ian was a General Dentist with the Royal Australian Air Force ( RAAF ) until 1998. During his time in the RAAF, he completed his post-graduate training in Endodontics at the University of Melbourne in 1993.
In 1998 Ian and his family relocated to Adelaide to begin an Endodontic specialist practice with Dr Jack Linn. Ian and Jack have recently celebrated 20 years of working partnership at North Terrace Endodontics. Ian is a Part-Time Clinical tutor and Lecturer at the University of Adelaide, Faculty of Dentistry. He also runs post-graduate training courses in endodontics for General Dental Practitioners.
Ian is a foundation member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists, a member of the Australian Society of Endodontology and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. He is also a past president of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists.
In his free time, Ian loves being with his family and friends, sharing meals together and hanging out. Ian also has a keen interest in fitness and nutrition and enjoys training and competing in triathlons. He recently competed in the Iron Man triathlon in Port Macquarie.
